Reservations should be made in advance. Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. To reserve space on any trip send check or money order payable to Brian Patteson, Inc.  Reservations will be accepted as long as there is space on a trip, but avoid waiting until the last minute as some trips sell out, while others might have to be canceled if they are under-subscribed (an infrequent circumstance).

a. for a single trip, send full payment.
b. for multiple trips, send either full payment or half of total for each member of party .If  a 50% deposit has been made, balance is due one month before trip

When sending your deposit, be sure to enclose a completed and signed registration form.

In the event that you register for a trip that is already filled, you will be placed on a waiting list, pending cancellations for that trip.

Trips without a minimum number of sign-ups 2-4 weeks prior to sailing may be canceled. To avoid this circumstance make your reservations early. Do not wait until the last minute to sign up. In the rare event that a trip for which you are registered is cancelled, you will be notified at least two weeks prior to the scheduled date. A Sunday trip that is cancelled for lack of participants may sometimes be used for a weather date if Saturday is sufficiently enrolled.

Our trip fees do not include a gratuity for the crew.  Please plan to have some cash available for this.

Cancellations will be accepted and refunded minus a $10 handling fee (per person) up to one month before a scheduled trip date. Following that, cancellations will be refunded only if a replacement can be found (usually from a waiting list) and are also subject to a $10/per person handling fee. If the canceling party can supply its own substitute, the handling fee will be waived.

Weather sometimes prevents us from going offshore. This is a judgment call of the boat captain. In the event we are completely weathered out, you will receive a full refund. If we are forced to return to the dock early by weather, you may or may not receive a pro-rated refund, depending on the distance traveled and the policy of the boat owner.

Anyone who signs up for a trip with a weather date is obligated to go offshore on the weather date if necessary or forfeit his payment. Brian Patteson, Inc. also reserves the right to cancel an advertised weather date if for any reason the boat becomes unavailable on that date.
